Sound familiar?

If any of these is you, it’s not your brain. It’s your system.

PLATEAU
“I took three mocks and got the same score every time.”
The fix: the score is the same because the mistakes are the same. Log them, and the pattern shows up within 2 weeks.
BURNOUT
“I do 40 questions a day and nothing moves.”
The fix: do fewer questions and review them properly. Pick your 3 worst misses, write why, and redo them in 7 days.
SLIPS
“Most of my misses are just careless.”
The fix: careless mistakes repeat. Tag them for 2 weeks; your top tag becomes one check you run before every answer.
TIMING
“I always run out of time in Quant.”
The fix: the 2:30 rule. No clear path by 2:30? Guess, bookmark it and move on. One question can’t cost you five.
CHAOS
“I never know what to study today.”
The fix: let your log choose. If 3 of your last 10 misses are ratios, today is ratios. No more random sets.
NEW
“Is my old prep material even right for Focus?”
The fix: Focus has no Sentence Correction and no geometry, and adds Data Insights. Everything here is Focus-only.
The difference

Studying hard vs. studying on purpose

Without a system

  • Random practice sets every night
  • Reviewing only the answer, not why you missed it
  • The same mistakes in every mock
  • No idea if you’re actually improving
  • Panic about what to study next

With Stop Doing GMAT Wrong

  • Your log picks the topic for you
  • Every miss gets a reason: concept, careless, timing or misread
  • Weak spots shrink week by week, and you can see it
  • A dashboard shows exactly where your points go
  • A plan built backwards from your test date

How it works

More questions won’t raise your score. Fixing the right ones will.

01

Log every miss

Topic, question type and the reason: concept, careless, timing or misread. It takes 20 seconds.

02

See the pattern

After 20–30 logged misses, your top three leaks show up on their own. No guessing.

03

Fix, then redo

Study only those topics, then redo each missed question 7 days later, cold. That’s when it sticks.

0%. Multiply the factors, don’t add the percents: 1.25 × 0.80 = 1.00. The price ends where it started.
